What is the Bearings Project?
By definition: Bearings is the awareness of one's position or situation relative to one's surroundings.
The Bearings Project is an Alexis Nakota Sioux /First Nations initiative that builds on the confidence and motivation of First Nations and Aboriginal members to excel in the employment opportunities made available by Eagle River. Managed by a Bearings manager, this project also assists all our team members through building bridges of understanding by encouraging an exchange of information between our cultures.
