Casino Games - Casino Attendant (Part-time)
Responsibilities
- Ensures the guest is being provided with superior customer service
- Responds to questions about game rules and casino policies and for the initial response to customer complaints
- Ensures all policies, procedures and controls are followed for effective and secure currency movements and conducting games smoothly, legally and in accordance to casino rules and AGLC terms and conditions
- Consistently demonstrates superior team skills
- Administers hand pays and jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance (will include diagnosis of machine malfunctions), ticket game and game diagnostics
- Exchanges money for casino chips
- Specific duties vary depending on game (blackjack, poker, roulette, 3-card poker, Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em and Spanish 21)
- Accurately prepares/pays hand pays
- Counts, balances and reconciles ATM and TRK kiosks
- Cashes out customer tickets
- Gives correct change
- Responsible for assigned cash float and balanced cash out
- Actively promotes the casino’s players club program
- Collects all losing bets
- Announces winning numbers by bets
- Our casino attendants are defined as a slot attendant and table games dealer in which you will be trained for both (which means you will be expected to work both positions when scheduled)
Requirements
- High school diploma an asset
- Must be able to register with AGLC
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math (counting currency)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work in a smoking environment
