Casino Games - Slot Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily operations of slots including training and mentoring of casino staff
  • Must have expert knowledge of all count room, cashier and slot attendant procedures
  • Provides assistance and expertise when dealing with disputes and customer concerns
  • Expert working knowledge of AGLC compliance and FINTRAC reporting requirements
  • Ensures the ATM and TRK machines are properly reconciled daily
  • Guides and directs staff to maintain high quality of work with minimal errors
  • Issues floats and receives deposits
  • Balances daily transaction logs for staff
  • Prepares bank deposits
  • Ensures the guest is being provided with superior customer service and that staff are customer-facing at all times

Requirements

  • 1-2 year experience in the casino industry
  • Able to work in high stress environments (workload, dissatisfied guests, etc.)
  • Experience with slots and table games rules and procedures
  • Experience in customer service and leadership
  • Has an AGLC gaming worker license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work shift work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well with internal and external guests
  • Able to adapt rules, behaviors, and procedures when deemed necessary by house or AGLC guidelines
  • Able to lead people at different levels to reach department objectives
