Food and Beverage - Busser
Responsibilities
- Clears and resets tables
- Wipes tables or removes/replaces soiled table linens
- Carries dirty dishes to the dishwashing area
- Serves water to customers
- Ensures that each table has supplies (e.g. sugar, cream, butter)
- Brings out trays of food
- Serves coffee
- Cleans up spilled food and broken dishes
- Stocks cabinets
- Performs other tasks such as scraping and stacking dishes in the kitchen
- Delivers food orders to appropriate table
- Cleans dishes
- Fills condiments containers
- Expedites orders to guests
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Many of the busser tasks require him/her to carry loads up to 25 lbs
- During any expediting, he/she must be able to move the load on a tray across the table restaurant floor smoothly
- Must have ProServe AGLC certificate
- Able to work as a part of a team
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Enthusiastic and outgoing, positive and upbeat
- Good organization and multitasking skills
- Team oriented
- Appearance standard
- Must be able to work weekends
- Excellent customer service skills
